We call this the Viking Bucket only because we have to give each bucket a name but its equally at home in the 12c .
A traditionally coopered wooden bucket with 18 staves held together with Hempex Rope in place of steel. This is available with either a turned wood or rope handle just let us know which one you prefer.
The bucket has a capacity of approx 6 lts. This is one of our reenactors series of buckets and as such is supplied without any wood treatment or surface finish.
When creating this bucket we decided on Hempex rope which is a synthetic Rope which looks like natural hemp. However unlike natural hemp it wont rot when it gets wet, however if you'd prefer natural hemp let us know at the point of ordering
I always adise with any tub or bucket when you first get them and periodically thereafter you coat the insides with as much beeswax polish you can. These seals the timber and helps prolong the life of the tub or bucket.
