This is a 30 stave wooden tub that's approx 400mm across x 250mm deep. I does fit inside the wash tub to make transport easier and to create a wash and rinse tub system. Have a paddle as well and you have a twin tub with a spin cycle, a dad joke for those of a certain age.
The standard tub is made from Douglas fir, I do offer a museum quality version made from Ash or Beech to special order and if pressed I can do these with Synthetic rope bands ( it has to be synthetic rope for less stretch and Resistance to rot when it gets wet). Contact me for pricing.
I always adise with any tub or bucket when you first get them and periodically thereafter you coat the insides with as much beeswax polish you can. These seals the timber and helps prolong the life of the tub or bucket.
